Maria Alamanioti was born and raised in Greece. After finishing her secondary education, she moved to the United Kingdom.

In 2019 Alamanioti was awarded with the degree of “Bachelor of Arts( Honours) in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery, at University for Creative Arts.

No more than 5 months after her graduation; after returning to her home town of Lamia in Greece, Alamanioti created the MA/ Jewellery brand and open her own store.

Her work explores nature and it’s forms , complimenting a-simmetrica shapes and abstract forms,sizes that maintain the relaxed feeling she her self embodies.

The unconventional combinations of materials and text she uses on her jewellery, project a deeper side of her, that is showcased in each piece.

Along side her own brand and shop, Maria teaches Silversmithing and Jewellery at the Art Whorkshops of Municipality.

From 2020 she has become an active member of ArtSKETKE.
